The event was opened by Ms. Marisa Andonopoulou, who explained to participants the actions of the non for profit organization Action Finance Initiative - AFI.
Then Mr D. Paximadis refered to gradual shift of Marketing, from the initial system that was focused on the offered result / product, in today's anthropocentric / customer-oriented system. He also explained the replacement of 4Ps Marketing Mix with the new SAVE model by analyzing its advantages and presented the value of personalized services and Differential Marketing.
Then Mr Paximadis defined the Business Model and he referred to the Business Model Canvas as a holistic business tool with customer-oriented approach. Moreover he analyzed the six stages of the creation process of a BMC for a NGO and he reffered to a very successful campaign of Unicef based on BMC.
In the end, a workshop took place with plenty of activities as the implementation of a BMC in a new NGO, with public participation. As always, the analysis of the subject was followed by an open discussion where questions were answered and Mr Paximadis shared the "tips & tricks" of the use of BMC based on his experience.
